I see so many wildlife art pieces these days that are simply re-creations of the outdoors in its most realistic form. I do adore realism and that's what I like creating most. Although, I do not want to become part of the seemingly endless list of realistic wildlife artists without being recognized for my individual techniques and style. What I'm trying to accomplish here with these first three drawings is to develope my style into a unique form of art that is not seen on a regular basis and yet still shows my passion and love for wildlife and realism. I try to bring out the true spirit of the animals and relationships they share with their surroundings. I was once told by my father that my unfinished drawings are so captivating and contain a certain attractiveness that I could almost stop halfway and frame it just like that. So I thought why not incorporate all of these ideas into a drawing with a finished feel to it; almost as if it were coming into life.
